Terms of Use
The rules for using Linsa while it is in testing: your account, your content, agents, the wallet and the marketplace.
Linsa is in testing
Linsa is distributed through TestFlight and is not a finished product. Features appear, change and disappear. Data can be migrated. Service can be interrupted without notice.
The app is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind and no service level. Do not make Linsa the only place where something important to you exists.
Your account
- You need a working email address, or Sign in with Apple, to create an account.
- One account belongs to one person. Do not share it and do not sell it.
- You are responsible for the device you are signed in on and for anything done from your account.
- Your recovery phrase is yours alone. We never see it and cannot reset it. If you lose it, we cannot get your wallet back for you.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Linsa.
Your content
Everything you write, upload and create in Linsa stays yours. We claim no ownership of it.
To run the product, we need permission to do the obvious mechanical things with it: store it, synchronize it between your devices, deliver it to the people and Spaces you send it to, and show it back to you. That permission covers nothing else. It ends when you delete the content or the account.
You are responsible for having the right to post what you post, including anything you forward.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or help someone else break it.
- Harass, threaten or impersonate people.
- Publish sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualizes them.
- Send bulk unsolicited messages, phishing or malware.
- Attack the service: probe it for holes without asking us, overload it, or work around rate limits and permissions.
- Scrape the product, or use it to build a dataset for someone else.
- Resell access to Linsa as if it were your own service.
The assistant and your agents
- Model output can be wrong. Lin drafts, summarizes and answers using a language model. Check anything that matters before you act on it. It is not legal, medical or financial advice.
- An agent acts on your behalf. Whatever an agent does inside the permissions you granted, you did. Grant permissions narrowly and read the audit log.
- Agents you publish are yours to stand behind. If it misbehaves, we can remove it.
- Do not use the assistant or an agent to generate the things listed under “What you may not do”.
The wallet and LIN
The wallet is part of a product in testing. Balances you see during this period are for testing the product, not a claim on anything.
- We promise no monetary value, no exchange rate and no ability to convert LIN outside the app.
- Balances can be reset while the product is in testing.
- Transfers between people are final. Nothing on our side can reverse a transfer you confirmed.
- Guard your recovery phrase. Access to the wallet depends on it, and only you have it.
The marketplace
Agents, extensions, templates and sticker packs in the marketplace are published by their authors. An author is responsible for what they publish and for having the right to publish it.
We can remove a listing that breaks these terms, is broken, or misrepresents what it does. Installing something from the marketplace means granting it permissions: read what it asks for before you accept.
Teams and companies
If you set up a Space for a team, the person who owns it controls its permissions, its members and its data. Whoever brings a team onto Linsa is responsible for telling their people what that means and for having the right to do it.
Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using Linsa at any time. To delete your account and its data, write to hello@linsa.io from the registered address.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we can do it immediately when the alternative is harm to other people. Where a warning is possible, you will get one.
What we are not liable for
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profit, lost LIN, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using a product that is openly in testing. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed by agreement.
Apple and other providers
Linsa reaches your iPhone through TestFlight, so Apple’s TestFlight terms apply to you as well. Calls, synchronization and the assistant run on services described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We update this page when the product changes. If a change matters to you, we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing the text. Continuing to use Linsa after a change means you accept it.
